Book Insights from Clinton Arnold

I wrote this book together with my son, Jeff, to provide an interesting way to explain many of the essential truths of the Christian faith. There are 50 blog-length chapters dealing with questions like, “is there a dark side to God?” “what will heaven be like?” “is hell a real place?” “are there errors in the Bible?” and, “do I need to be baptized to go to heaven?”  The book covers questions about the Bible, God, Jesus and the Spirit, life after death, the supernatural, how to know God, the Christian life, and essential Christian practices.  Many of the chapters had their beginnings as curriculum in grounding new believers in the Christian faith.  The nucleus of some of the chapters were part of a regular column in a NavPress magazine called, Discipleship Journal.  In our opinion, this is an ideal book to give to a new believer or someone who is inquiring about the Christian faith.  Some churches have been using it as curriculum in discipleship courses. In his foreword to the book, J. I. Packer said, “as a springboard resource for discipling Christians, this book should prove its usefulness over and over again.”
